01. Explain why copper is a better conductor than ceramic.
Solution
Copper has lots of free electrons whereas ceramic has no free electron. Therefore, copper conducts heat through the vibrations of atoms and the collision of free electrons whereas ceramic can only do so through the vibrations of it atoms. So copper is a better conductor than ceramic.
